Perranporth, England

Perranporth is a small seaside resort town on the north coast of Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is 6 miles (10 km) southwest ofNewquay and 7 miles northwest of Truro. There is little to beat flying into Perranporth Airfield, originally built during World War II as an RAF fighter station, is now a civil airfield located on the plateau above the cliffs. The approach to runway 09 is spectacular, as you flying towards the airfield from the sea, with the threshold just a few metres back from the cliff face.

The cliff path is surrounded by gorse bushes and on summer days, you may even see an adder sunning itself on the path. A mile or so along the path is the village of St Agnes, where there is a pub that serves great food and ales. The view along the path is disused tin mines and secluded coves.
