Sharm el Sheikh
Just a week in the sun…in a Sharm el Sheikh almost devoid of Germans, Italians and Belgians. Their governments had blocked flights here on the grounds of security. There were no bombs at all during our stay. Most of the tourists were from the UK, Russia or Ukraine.
The diving was as good as ever, but Na’ama Bay was quiet, and most restaurants were empty. Tourism was said to be down by 90%.
