Chris Frost, an accomplished author, photographer and seasoned world traveller, brings a wealth of life experience to his storytelling. Born in Gloucester, England, to a multicultural family with roots spanning Ireland, India, and America, Chris spent 40 years navigating the business world, where he authored his first book, Operational Risk and Resilience (1999). After retiring, he channelled his passion for making a difference into a charity that provides healthcare and education in Iraq (AMAR International Charitable Foundation).
An intrepid explorer, Chris thrives in some of the world’s most intriguing and challenging destinations, including Iraq, Ukraine, Pakistan, Nigeria, Burundi, the Arctic, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He is now crafting an epic historical fiction novel, a sweeping family saga that traverses Ireland, England, India, Burma, and Japan. At its heart is the poignant love story of James Dillon and Masako Kanou, whose bond is tested by the haunting legacies of World War II and buried family secrets. Rich with themes of love, betrayal, and redemption, Chris’s latest work promises a deeply moving journey into the power of reconciliation and shared history.
Chris took these photographs on a trip to Iraq and northern Pakistan, which was described in one of his earlier books: Divine Highways
