Kos, Greece

Just a week on the island of Kos. Sunny days and great seafood. Highly recommend Mike’s Taverna…

Mike attaches great importance to the food and drinks’ good quality. For this reason, he collects many culinary herbs on the island himself and produces his own lemon liqueur every spring, called Limoncello. Even after 35 years, Mike and his lovely wife Gina are happy to serve their guests every year and enjoy meeting new people.

The chaos at the airport on departure was almost beyond belief. Hundreds of people queued to get into the airport, and hundreds more queuing to check in or drop bags. Hundreds queuing to go through security and passport control. Air conditioning was only just working, and people were sitting on the floor as there were not enough seats in the departure hall. Apparently, Rhodes Airport is worse.
