Kos, Greece
Just a week on the island of Kos. Sunny days and great sea food. Highly recommend Mike’s Taverna…
Mike attaches great importance to the good quality of the food and drinks offered. For this reason, he collects many culinary herbs on the island himself and produces every spring his own lemon liqueur, called Limoncello. Even after 35 years, Mike and his lovely wife Gina are happy every year to serve their guests and enjoy meeting new people.
The chaos at the airport on departure was almost beyond belief. Hundreds of people queuing to get into the airport; hundreds more queuing to check in or drop bags. Hundreds queuing to go through security and passport control. Air conditioning only just working and people sitting on the floor as there were no enough seats in the departures hall. Apparently, Rhodes airport is worse.
