“Jeremy Stein started Rainbow Divers in the mid 90’s and is responsible for opening the 1st PADI dive centre in Vietnam. Now, Rainbow Divers seems to be omnipresent throughout Vietnam and certainly synonymous with professional training and diving standards. Jeremy and his International diver team continue to pioneer diving in Vietnam!” We enjoyed diving with the Rainbow Divers Nha Trang team - who run a very well organised operation with a focus on both fun and safety. Grant Martin - (Rainbow Divers director, PADI course instructor, EPR & DAN Instructor/trainer, TEC diving instructor, etc. - is a great instructor. He took our 12 year old girl through the PADI Junior Open Water PADI course and was really s exceptional. Good sized dive boats - one size aimed at mass diving and the other catering for those with more specialist diving needs. The diving was in reasonably clear water, with a great diversity of soft and hard corals. Also several different species of nudibranches and several large morays (see below). There are over 400 species of hard coral making it one of the richest hard coral dive sites in the world. This is one of the best dive centres - in terms of values and the experience of the team. What could they do better? Not much - perhaps post-dive hot drinks? |
