The Dive Centre is the La Herradura Marina and is just a few metres from the water. While dive equipment is good, the facilities are otherwise limited. The English language skills of the dive instructors were limited - great if you are able to speak Spanish, but not great if Spanish is not your best language.. As a consequence, dive briefings were not the as detailed or safety focussed as they could have been. Diving conditions are good, but the sea life is limited. The rib is in good condition, but lacks the comfort of a proper dive boat. It is not a bad dive centre, but compared with the diving experience of the Maldives or the Red Sea, it has a long way to go. But it is nearer to home! |
