Agra: with the Taj Mahal - the most famous tomb in the world.  The skies are thick with pollution - not sure if that is going to do the building much good.  It is only when you get up close and see the gemstones embedded in the marble that you can get any real sense of its beauty and the skill of the men who built it.

From here, we hired a car that took us to Gulgmarg is one of best hill resorts in Kashmir - with pine clad hills, green pastures and some of the best skiing in India. Once the favourite haunt of Emperor Jehangir, Gulmarg is now the the place to come and relax. The ponies were just a little to small for my 6’4” frame, but just right for Mrs Schweboo.She rode and I walked.
