The flight from Hong Kong seemed to take for ever - with one brief stop over in Hawaii, followed by touchdown in LA. II left the airport and set out on the long drive down to Del Mar.
On the coast, close to the Ocean, Del Mar was a refuge from so many long days on the road. There I was welcomed by an old friend and made many new friends.
